Weight:  165.2
Breakfast:  1 cup of coffee, 2 eggs (1 whole, one just whites) in a wheat tortilla with a touch of cheese.
Lunch:  Greek chicken wrap with pasta salad from Libby's of Lexington, water
Snack:  Pretzel crisps and hummus and some trail mix
Dinner:  Frozen flounder (it has been flash fried...oops!) and sweet potato (this was my first time eating a baked sweet potato...it was really good!) (Here's a tidbit about sweet potatoes v. white potatoes:  http://www.rd.com/health/the-health-properties-of-sweet-potatoes/
Snack:  Banana and a few nuts
Snack:  3 boiled egg whites, pretzel chips and hummus
Exercise:  3.4 mile walk along Lake Murray Dam

Wow.  Look at that.  I'm publicizing my weight.  I never really thought I'd do it, but after much consideration, I thought I might actually stay more accountable to myself if I'm being honest with all of you about my weight and the struggles I go through.

Why did I start this blog, you might ask?  What makes me so special?  Nothing in particular.  I just thought that by sharing the things I deal with and go through that I might be able to help someone else know that they're "normal" too. 

What can you expect from this blog?  Probably random tidbits about my life.  Maybe a little humor.  Maybe the inside scoop on what I'm doing to drop 25 (25.2 to be specific) pounds.  Maybe some frustrations I deal with.  Maybe something about the blessings of being a mother and wife.  Maybe even just random thoughts I have that relate to none of the above!

How often can you expect me to post?  As often as I feel like it, to be honest.  I may post every day.  I may post once a week...or maybe even multiple times a day!  I hope you can find some benefit from the inside peek into my life!
