Weight:  165.2
Breakfast:  1 cup of coffee, Luna bar
Snack:  handful of roasted salted almonds
Lunch:  Chicken bowl (chicken and rice) with added broccoli from Tokyo Grill
Snack:  Luna bar, 1 serving of Veggie Straws (or something like that from Sam's...really yummy!)
Dinner:  1 packet of tuna mixed with 1 serving Mayo, 3 egg whites
Exercise:  Went to the gym!  Worked legs and did cardio and sat in the sauna for a few!

All righty then.  I'm starting to feel like the scale is out to get me.  Have you ever felt that way?  I mean, just a couple of days ago I was under 165.  What gives?  The negative part of me says, "You're doing all this work for nothing!"  Then the positive part of me says, "Don't worry about it.  It won't be long until that weight just starts falling off of you."  Then the realistic part of me chimes in, "It may not just 'fall' off.  This process could take longer than you expect!"

So what's it going to be?  Am I going to give up?  Am I going to throw in the towel?  No.  I haven't been trying to eat right and work out for no reason.  I know eventually this has got to work.  I mean, c'mon, I haven't had a Reese's Peanut Butter Egg in about two weeks!  Surely that alone has got to help me lose weight!  ha!

So here is where this blog comes in handy.  I can evaluate what I've been eating, and maybe try to figure out what I can do differently.  I don't normally eat much of that trail mix when I do, but I'm thinking I might try to avoid that today and have a different snack when I get that sweet tooth, like a banana.  I've also been told that if I increase my protein intake, that might help as well.  I think I'll do a little research on that and do a separate post about that in case you're interested in it as well.
